What Is Worship?
Worship is the outward expression of an inward devotion to God. It is our loving, honoring, and obeying the One who deserves our highest regard. When we worship, we acknowledge God’s power and perfection with gratitude, we stand in awe of His holiness, and we choose to live reverently in His presence.
Worship is more than a song; it is a life offered to God. It appears in prayer, obedience, service, and in the beauty of movement. Dance is a powerful language of praise. Through rhythm and motion, we express our love for God in ways words cannot. Across cultures and traditions, dance has been used to honor and glorify Him. Whether a graceful hula, sign language, indigenous forms, or contemporary choreography, dance can become a sincere offering when it flows from a pure heart.
